Hi!

Accidentally came up with these settings. I thought that rhythm 2 channel is useless, but now i realised it rocks!
Recorded with unmodded Mark III Red Stripe, 2xV12 cabinet and AKG C214 microphone. Very silently in my bedroom.

Ever tried sticking an overdrive pedal in front of R2? Kickass British hard rock tone.

I have Fulltone OCD and Boss SD-1. Lead channel sounds so creamy I have almost forgotten to use those pedals. I have made experiments with OCD, but that time preferred its sound with little hot gained R1. Somehow my settings then ruined R2 (too much 750khz?) and it sounded really bad. Never tried SD-1 with MKIII, but I will try it next time in band rehearsals. Now that I'm aware both of rhythm channels are usable, i have much wider variety of tones to play with :)

I'ts ok to have opinions when it comes to guitar tones :)

I had something like this in my mind when looking for sounds:

I admit my clip is more scooped and everything, it might have been closer if i had turned mids up a bit. And of course volume of the amp.
Thats maybe the most important part of plexi sound. It must be LOUD. I have played some old Super Bass etc. old Marshalls, and they have very special feel when cranked loud. I felt this time, that I was close to that feel in my bedroom silently, but maybe that was just illusion :)
