From what I gather some earlier models did have the controls seen on the front and later models didn't.This seems to be the older chassis but without the level and presence controls.You would get your tone shaping from using an added preamp.These poweramps are designed to be warm, powerful and very clean and the tone is "set"
Is there volume/level A and B controls on the back for each side?
