Mark III no stripe. Channel two is quite a bit lower volume than the Clean channel. IS there any way to change its relationship volume wise to channel one? Any idea which resister controls the volume of channel two?

Thanks!

Search 'R2 level mod' on this site and you will find details and pics.

It's simple - one pot and a couple of wires. I replaced the Direct Level control with a dual gang pot.

It's set and forget and by far the best MKIII mod to do. Full 3 channel control.

My tip is to avoid using a 250k or 500k pot and use a 100k. That gives a much better range.

If you are in there, modding the reverb depth is easy too. There is a black wire that comes from the board to the fx return earth. Pop a resistor in series on that line - 15k ish.

Thanks for the link. I am going to do the MOD this weekend.

I use a TC Electronics reverb pedal in the effects loop for reverb but thanks for the tip either way !
Guess that means I can use the pot on the back for the mod and disconnect the reverb tank....

Many thanks !
