NAD EARLY Mark III Black Dot 105PT Simulclass w/cab, original paperwork, tags and covers...Mint condition with no noticeable scars or tears.

Serial No 153XX

I was surprised to see the EV's in the open half and the G12-80's in the bottom closed half...was this a stock configuration? or were they swapped at one point?

ridiculous craigslist deal $800 for both...

Looks lovely! A great deal!

I have the same EV / Celesion speaker combo in my 2x12 vertical version of your cab but my EV is in the closed bottom half. So yours may have been swapped.

I've been thinking of going for a similar swap though to loosen the cab up a bit. It thumps too much at the moment. How does yours sound?

Thanks! It sounds absolutely killer! Does the Metallicka tone in spades! I sold my 3ch DR and Heartbreaker many years ago and couldn't pass this up.

The only thing I am thinking of doing with it is replace 2 of the 6L6 with El34

Wow man, you stole that thing! Unbelievable deal on an amazing amp and cab!

Thanks all! The glass is a quad of the STR 415 Blue labels - guessing original?

I'm on the hunt for a matched pair of STR 416's which I am told these days are about as rare as the dodo.

The STR-415's - Yes they are likely the original tubes.

And yes again regarding finding a pair of 416's. In lieu of those you could get a pair of Sylvania 6CA7's/ EL34's.
Same tube as the Mesa labeled STR-416.

I just picked a pair up from ebay... "CLOSE MATCHING PAIR OF NOS SYLVANIA EL34/6CA7 OUTPUT TUBES REBOXED IN WHITE BOXES.

ONE HAS AN EXTRA SIDE GETTER FLASHING AND ONE DOES NOT.

TEST 7100/7100 gm AND 42/45ma where 3800 IS MIN GOOD ON HICKOK 539C TESTER."

these should work ok rating wise?

Thanks

Smokin' deal!!!

Don't know why someone reversed the correct positions of your speakers, but I recommend swapping them back. The EVM12L in a closed back cabinet is an instrument of Fury!!!

Go with a set of Winged C from Watford valves 2000 series either quad 6L6 or outer with EL34 and your will be amazed. My purple stripe with that combo and some old (60's)GE tubes V1 12ax7 and V5 5751 is absolutely the bomb. I'm the original owner and took all these years to dump the Mesa tubes, what a shame!

I'll give you $880 right now and you can have a quick 10% profit!

Wow, what a score! That should be a KILLER setup. Congrats on the new rig. Smokin!
