I just checked out this fully loaded '83 Boogie IIC head serial number 11117.

I played it though an 80's Diamond Grill 4x12 this afternoon, and it sounded REALLY good. To me is sounded like my 60 watt IIC+ amp.

It's not in the best of shape, but everything is working on it and there are no issues.

Based on these pics and the fact that it's a IIC instead of a IIC+ amp, what would be a decent price for this head in this condition?

I really couldn't find too much info on past sales on an amp head like this.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Here are the pics:

There's a mark above the power cable. Looks like a +. If it is, I'll give you $2k, if it is not a mark, I'll give you $1,500.00. That's me and my money where my mouth is, someone might tell you they'll pay you more.

Thanks guys. The line above the chord is not a +. It just a vertical line.

It also doesn't fall into the serial number sequence. The serial number is 11117.

I thought the C+ serials started at about 11500.

The Loop Test –

1) Plug your guitar into the Effects Return jack
2) Switch to lead mode
3) Turn the Lead Drive and Gain controls with a note ringing.
4) If they have NO effect on the volume and sound you have a+.

I picked up the head today. I did the return input test, and it wasn't a C+.

The amp is a IIC and it sounds amazing like it is.

I'm really glad I picked it up.
