Hi

I've just purchased a 1980 Mark 2A and have searched far and wide here for mods / upgrades etc but everything seems to relate to the very popular C+.

Can anyone assist?

Can the A be upgraded to C+?

How to fix the noisy reverb?

cheers

Is there something about the amp you dont like?I would suggest using the amp for a while and see what you do and dont like about it before randomly doing mods.Dont do mods merely because someone on the internet said its good, tone is so subjective, what sounds good to me may not suit you. After using the amp and getting to know its good and bad points,do mods specifically based on improvements YOU want, not what someone else says it needs.

Thnks for the replies.

I think the lead channel needs brightening a little and the reverb could be a little more "up front" but overall it's a really good sounding amp.

My Mark 5-25 has all the tones sorted out but it also has some level issues switching between tones.

I'll try the lead channel mod and post the results

cheers
