The ground on my power cord broke off today. I'm assuming I probably shouldn't use the amp this way. Where do I get a replacement cord and how do I know what to get? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, rather than replacing the entire cord, I could just cut it off and install a new plug end like this, couldn't I?
 
I would think that would be fine. I've used those plenty of times on extension cords without issue.
