tube tray protector--need clips!

I have a Studio .22+, and the clips that hold the tube cover/tray in place have broken. Where can I find these, how much are they, and how necessary is it to have the tray?? Thanks.

Not sure where you could find such a retainer but you may have to retrofit plastic tie wrap[?]
