Just found this forum and I am seriously interested in getting a used DC-3, but have not been able to find out what one weighs. Being female, I need to know if it is something I can lug around, or since they don't have casters, if I will have to rig up something. I would REALLY appreciate if someone who owns one would weigh it or if you already know the weight tell me. Thanks alot.

I just sold and shipped a DC-3. Shipping weight was about 60lbs. I'd say the amp is around 50lbs alone. Unless you go with a subway series or something all the smaller combos are around 50lbs give or take 5lbs. Get one, they're a great sounding amp, I just moved up to a Mark IV. Get the actual Boogie removable caster, they're easy to use and a great design.

Here's one for you

They usually go for $500 to $600.

The DC-3 weighed that much?

I have a DC-3 (grey tolex) I won't part with, even after buying a Mark IV and IIC+. Great little amp and HIGHLY recommended by ME!
