Hi guys,
Great community!

I see some sweet rigs in the signatures, but i'm wondering who are the members with the craziest Mesa collections?

Just curious.

I won't claim to be the biggest nut (doesn't someone have 7 x IIC+'s?), but I must admit I am a nut!

well, i've owned one of every mark (including all the different revisions of the II, III, and IV), except a purple stripe III.
so i'd say i'm up there

What did you guys end up keeping?
Which did you like the best?

One of each (except for a III Black Dot that I sold)... plus a LoneStar and a Studio .22+ and a Maverick...

And I've bought 3 more Rectos since I made that list a couple weeks ago... :p

In all, I've probably owned 45+ Mesa head units, 10+ preamps, 6+ power amps, and 4 or 5 cabs. This is just rough approximates from counting up, I don't have an exact number. Lots of gear was compared to other pieces over time, and I used just about all of that in band context at some point in time.

I've PLAYED much more Mesa gear than that before. That's just a list of what I've personally OWNED.

Jesus! I have a hard enough time keeping ONE Mesa in the house!! I've owned a Mark IV, Roadster, Rectoverb combo, F30 combo, and Stiletto Ace combo. I currently own a DC-3 shorthead w/ 2 recto 1x12 cabs. I like it more than any of the others for some reason! I definitely love Mesas, but i'm nowhere near the 'biggest Mesa nut' in these parts...

I'm not the 'biggest', but I've found my way into the clubhouse.

Mark IIC+ (bought last night)
(2) Rev. E Dual Rectifiers
Lonestar Classic
Lonestar cab with EV speaker
Lonestar extension cab with two Greenbacks

Great, man!!! 45+ and then some more!!!
Now I can tell the wife that I am not as crazy as she thinks. I have only owned 21 Mesas and, as of now, I am keeping only 16 (including the 3 I have passed to my sons) plus lots of different cabinets.
This is certainly an addiction... but what a nice one!!
Best regards
