Hello:

My clean channel is not working at all when I step on the footswitch. Gain channel works fine.

After opening the thing up, I noticed that the big grey wire that extends from the middle of the PCB to the area around the input jack/pull boost pot is hanging loose. I am pretty sure this is supposed to be soldered somewhere...possibly to one of the 5 lugs on the pull boost switch.

Attached is a photo of the DC5. I couldn't find an on line photo of the wiring of the pull boost pot by itself, but if anyone could tell me (or post a photo) where the big grey wire is supposed to be connected, I would appreciate it.

The big grey wire in the photo is the one coming from the middle of the PCB. It is tie wrapped along with other wires. My amp has it hanging lose at the input jack area.

Thanks,

Took a chance and soldered the big grey wire to the center lug of the clean channel volume.

It works, no smoke, so I guess I am in the clear.

Case closed.
