Hi guys!
I have a problem with my DC-10 head. It keeps blowing fuses. One day it works fine and the next day it blows two of them...
My tech checked it out and could not find anything wrong with it. Does anybody else has or had similar problems or know the solution. I am heading to studio next week and need to fix this.
Thank you.
Eddie

Have the power tubes been replaced?

Any burned transistors on the board? Have the Screen Grid resistors been replaced?

Normally, it will not blow fuses unless there are bad power tubes, or the power section has a fault. The fuse blows to protect the rest of the amplifier circuit.

Yes, tubes have been changed 6 months ago.
We'll check again the transistors and screen grid resistors.

Thank you.

Depending on how much you play, the power tubes can fail within 6 months. They just don't make them like they used to.
