I used a Grid Slammer and quite liked it. Didn't keep it cause it colored the tone too much for my taste. But, it did sound good. A Noise Gate however was a requirement.
I don't think the Flux Drive is as hot. Pick one up. Buy it from someplace that will let you return it if you are not happy. Nothing really to loose than a few trips to the shop.
