MXR Carbon Copy/DC5....Anyone used that combination?

Just curious if any of you have had experience with the MXR Carbon Copy and the DC5. From what I've read and the reviews that I've seen on youtube the pedal sounds dark. Just wondering if some of you found the CC to dark to pair with the DC5. TIA

I use a Carbon Copy with my DC3 as my only delay. It does color the tone a bit, but nothing that concerns me. Works great for my needs. I would not call it "dark".

I have a Carbon Copy and a DC5 head. The CC will colour the tone, it was designed to. It's an analogue bucket brigade delay. That said, it's not a dark pedal. If you turn the modulation on (which applies a chorus effect to the delayed signal) then you do appear to get more bass out of it.
Great pedal and great with a DC5.
