Hello Beloved Brethren of the Boogie Clan,

I have a hypothetical question for you all. Let's say I have two external cabs, each rated at 8 ohms, which I do. Let's also say, just for the sake of argument, that I want to hook up both external speaker cabs AND the internal speaker of the DC-5 Combo. Kinda like a 3x12 config.

Is this safe, or should I get a fireworks permit first?

I´m sure the others will chime in on this,too....

I´d say update your account at Mercury Magnetics for a new output trannie and dust off your spare tubes 8)
 
Fireworks permit attained, opening an account at Mercury, sold the old tubes (they were Mesas - yuk)

Heading for the speaker jacks now, amp on eleven
