Ever since I got my DC-3 I've been using the GEQ with it assigned to the Lead channel. I favored the classic 'V' shape (made famous by Mr. Petrucci) at first, but last night I decided to just leave everything flat and use the channel EQ. It sounded a little thin at first but after bumping up the volume and tweaking it sounded much better! It seems to open up the tone and really shines for lead stuff. So, i'm wondering how you guys use your GEQs. Use it as a volume boost (flat and all sliders up a little... or scooped low when on and EQ off for leads)? Leave it on? How's it set? I'm curious now. :D

i dont really use it all that often and i kinda dig the rhythm channel as is. When i use my gretsch i do use it to pull some more highs out and i like how bassy i can get it.
