DC-2 Hum When Reverb Is On

Post by francesthemute » Mon Feb 02, 2009 10:41 pm

It only happens with the output level turned all the way up, or close to it, and the reverb at about 5 or higher. I realize there is always going to be a slight hum when your dealing with tube amps, but it becomes much more pronounced with the controls set like I mentioned. Has anyone else noticed this on their amp?

are you talking about the channel MASTER or the main OUTPUT VOLUME for the amp? Looking through the mesa manual they def have a sweet spot listed for the output volume, and i have heard a bit more hum at 10...but i usually play at around 2-5 on the OUTPUT VOLUME
