I dont not own a mesa mark iib but im thinking about getting it but its a combo amp only one i could find with reverb (but its on the back) and a geq does anyone make head shells for them!!

I would post a pick of the amp that im talking about but i dont know how to insert a image

Contact Sour Mash cabinets and Bob will make you the headshell you want.

Or you can get one direct from Mesa.

It's not a tough project. I've made one or two. (Not looking for work making any, sorry.)

Any decent woodworker should be able to make a nice headshell cabinet. If he has a finger jointing or dovetail fixture in particular.

Ok thanks ill remember that website i also heard Mike B made someone a headshell for there amp but dont know how i could get a hold of him or how much it would cost i also am not even sure if i want to get the amp LOL

Anyone with moderate wood working skills could build you one. I've done, but without the dovetail. Look for carpenters/cabinet makers in your area. If you're looking to keep weight down Home Depot has select pine in the right width and it takes aniline dye well and grain can be faked with it. If you do it yourself make a template for matching where the mounting holes are.

I did recently see a post elsewhere where a guy had done a real nice IIC+ short head cab upgrade. This was the vendor he sourced the pine shell from.

I know nothing more then the fact the pics looked very nice and his comment below, after I asked if he did the cab from scratch.

"Thank you, but I cant take credit for the build, I actually got it from a guy in Fresno Ca that sells on ebay. Very reasonable price and excellent build quality."
