I recently bought an early Mark IV Series A compact combo, low serial number, which is missing the screws to hold the footswitch to the back of the amp. I spoke with a customer service rep at Boogie who explained that the later "bale" / "receptacle" mounting system was not used on those early MkIVs, and that he didn't have information regarding the thread diameter / pitch of the thumbscrews that were used back then.

Does anybody have some basic specifications for the footswitch thumbscrews used on early Mk IV combos (thread diameter / pitch / etc.)? Also, was there a mechanism to keep these thumbscrews attached to the footswitch when it was taken off the amp, or would the user typically just put the screws back into the threaded inserts on the amp while using the footswitch?
