I'm just curious... If your Mark III has the original factory reverb, do you use it? Or do you use a reverb pedal? I know a lot of people don't like the original factory one... Just curious what some of you use.

Use mine all the time. Much better after some mods though that I got sent from Mesa.

Stock, the MKIII reverb can be weak, so one mod I did was to make the range/depth of the reverb much greater. Now I can get it to Dick Dale proportions on the knob if I want. Simple resistor (10k) in series on the black cable from PCB to fx return jack.

Second mod was to remove some background distortion and noise from the reverb circuit with an extra connection to ground from the reverb transformer.

I could not be happier with it now.

I always have a multifx in the fx loop too. Currently a Lexicon MX200 that does more spacey reverb and echoes when I need them.
