Hi all

I want to take some gut shot of my MKIIA and would like to know the easy way please.

Speaker side down, up on its side ?

Thanks
Andyman

Ok do I lay the amp speaker face side down and remove the amp up and out the back side. Also should I remove the power tubes or can the whole thing come out in one piece. I don't want to pinch my fingers or break any tubes. This amp has only been touched by the person who built it and Mike B.

PS I just had it restored by Mike B @ Mesa 5-2015 and it still has the original STR 387's

Just sit the amp up the way you would play it.
When unscrewing the chassis hold it with one hand at the back just so you take some of the weight. Then just slide it out.I'd remove the the power tubes just to be on the safe side but they'll be fine as the cabinet has the wooden ledges at each end to take the weight of chassis anyway and it would land on them.
