Mark IV Channel Switching Problems using FU-3

I have a Mark IV and I have an issue that I would like some advice with. When I use the FU-3 footswitch, I can not get to channel two. I can only go to one three, loop, EQ etc all work. I can switch it manualy or if I use the 1/4 Jack switch mode and Ch 2 works. I took the FU-3 appart and all of the LEDs are connected. The continuity is fine so its not the conections. I was told that the ch 2 switch is working so its not that.

Do you think that its an issue with the FU-3 or could it be an issue with the amp or a switch on the amp?

If you have access to another FU3 I would try that. I would bet it's the footswitch or the cable.
