Hey guys:
I have a recently purchased Mark III greenstripe/1989-built simul combo that sounds killer, but the reverb has a "hiss" or noisy "tail" when I hit notes and cut them off. I have changed out the reverb driver tube, but have not checked the tank, lines, connections, etc., yet. The rev quality is par with Mark amps, just the hiss is an issue.
I will try a few other things to cure the ill sound, but I thought maybe someone on this forum (and I think this is THE BEST amp forum on-line) may have had a similar problem and knows what I am hearing! The noise occurs at around 5-6 on the rev level and is not present when the mix knob is at zero.
Thanks!
Brian
