Help from the experts

Post by droptrd » Tue Dec 16, 2008 12:00 pm

I need advice and info on the Mark IV heads. Im going to be trading a Randall RM100 for Mark IV head. I know nothing about the Mark Series. What is the difference between the wide and short heads. A and B?
Any help would be great.

no difference between wide and short heads except for the placement of some of the controls. They sound the same and have everything you need. In summary, A and B are very close in sound. A is a bit brighter and more open, and B is darker, more modern, and a bit compressed. They have some different features. For more info, read through the "MarkIV Thread".
