Advice on an F50

Post by paul461 » Fri Dec 08, 2017 12:02 pm

I wrongly sold my first F50 a few years ago..went a round a few different Boogies and then ended up back with another F50, not the same one, which on the drive channel sounds completely different and not as good as my first one.
I changed all the tubes to new Boogie ones and had it serviced and the amp still sounds like I'm using a guitar with Microphonic pickups, which is the best way I can describe it, it sounds like this on all my electric guitars..clean channel is fine but the drive channel has almost all the treble off and its still harsh...any ideas are very welcome!!!
