I have cabinets and I like the F30 for some things but I would like it in head form. Did they make one or how might this be accomplished?

Check with Mesa. Since this amp is no longer in production, it will probably be a custom job and therefore kind of pricey (just me guessing). I know you can find some guys to build you a head shell at a reasonable price. I'm sure you might get a few recommendations from other members on this site. I've done this with my lonestar because of the weight and just built it myself. You can do it if yourself if you have the tools and have the aptitude to use them. I'm happy to give you some insight if you want to tackle it. If you're not a DIY kinda guy, just buy one.

I know I could build a case. I'm a bit of a stickler on aesthetics. I built an amp stand for my Mark V and it came out quite well. I don't have any way to make a dovetail joint though. So strength is a concern. How did you make yours? Have any pictures?

Here is the stand I made http://forum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=67334

Sorry for the delay. I didn't use dovetail joints, I used finger joints. I believe that's what mesa uses, but don't hold me to it. Here was my project. I used a jet finger joint jig and a router. I tried it out on some plywood before I tried it on the maple.
