Anyone provide me with a quick link on the history of these amps? When did they first hit the market/ discontinued. Links or comments will be most appreciated.

I'm very interested in this as well. I'd love to get the info on these amps like we got on the Rectifiers. When I first joined this forum I started a thread called "Rectifier Lineage" because while there was an insane amount of info here on those amps, it was all scattered through out this board. That thread very conveniently organized a great deal of it through the generous help of my fellow members. It's be great if we could do the same for the Stilettos. Maybe I'll post it and see what becomes of it...
 
Created as a JCM crunch channel, Boogie Lead channel.
Marketed as a modern counterpart to the Recto - it wasn't. Lots disappointed metal players expecting an EL34 based take on the Recto. So the originals were marked way down to make way for a re-voiced version (Series II).
