Stiletto Ace Fan

Post by brogh » Thu Jan 15, 2015 11:14 am

Hello Guys !

So i'm willing to do a little mod on my stiletto ace 2x12, the fan is quite noisy sometimes when you play at really low volumes.
I want to use this bad boy to record at home, sometimes the fine is " loud ", son't get me wrong it's not for normal operations but in my case it is.

What I want to do is to add a simple on off switch, so I can turn off the fan just for the time to record the take, I know that if there is a fan it's supposed to be there for something, but i'm talking about really low volumes, for really short time periods, .. 5 minutes or so.

I'm having trouble in understanding how the fan is connected, ( i don't want to open up the amp without knowing where everything i need to know sits )

From this picture I can see the location, but I can't understand how the fan is connected to the board/power supply .. is there a connector ?
Does anyone have a picture of the fan region in detail ?

Thank You !

Cheers
