Hey gang!
forgive my ignorance. I've tried searching for an answer to this specific question but couldn't find one.
(This might be due to my being a nube to mesa)

I have a Stiletto Ace 1x12 combo. Love it! It has the stock 8ohm spkr in it and I have a 2x12 4ohm cab.
The Stiletto has 2x 8ohm taps and 2x 4ohm taps.

Which tap do I connect the 4ohm ex-cab to while still using the 8ohm internal spkr?

Is it as simple as using the 4ohm tap and 8ohm tap?

Thanks for the help :)

We're curious as to what the answer is!
UNSOLICITED ADVICE DEPT:
It's not possible to hook up an external 4 ohm cab and the internal 8 ohm speaker without some mismatch, which would, in this case, be 2.67 ohms on the low side.
If you re-wire the cab to 16 ohms, you'll get 5.33 ohms, a bit safer.

Ha! Right! :)

Anything less than 4 ohms is asking for trouble.
So I can use either/or but not both at the same time. Of course.

So for now, I'll just use the cab w/the amp's internal spkr unplugged until I decide if I want a 16ohm cab or not.
