Bad rectifier tube?

So I guess I've had a bad rectifier tube in the 50 watt setting since I got the head. When set up to tube rec at 50 watt spongy there was volume problems and has gotten worse over time until now when I was able to hear crossover distortion and noticed the glass hasen't burned in the same as the other two rec tubes, the filament is a lot dimmer too.

I switch around the rec tubes and the problem stopped, maybe I can get a warranty on the rec tube.

I think the warranty on tubes is something like 6 months with a brand new amp.

I noticed that you posted a topic about you're rec tube being bad in your new stiletto in 2008! Haha . I going to send and email of to them just to see if I could get one , my amp is older then the 6 month warrenty, but I didn't know about the problem till now.

Yes, and they were quick to replace. I thought I had the amp longer, but if not it's nice to know that I've got a little bit of time left on the warranty.
