I have a Stiletto 1x12 cabinet (closed back) with a Vintage 30 in it. I don't really like V-30's. I really like C-90's.
Has anyone tried this cabinet with a C-90 instead of the stock V-30?
I would really like to get more bass and highs out of it. The cab sounds ok with the V-30, but just lacks in thump.
I used it in the studio a couple of weeks ago with a Dual Rec head. The amp was only turned up loud enough to get a good tone, Master roughly at 9:00 and the V-30 was already mushy sounding. I don't have that problem with C-90's!
