How do i tell the difference?

I'm chatting to someone about a trade for a Stiletto but can't work out if it's a stage I or a stage II. is there a sure fire way to find out? I thought all Stage II heads had the "ii" above the input jack but he disagrees.

Any help appreciated.

Si,
You're right about the Stage II having the "II" marked on the front panel above the foot switch and input jacks. The jewel lights are different colors too. The Stage I is red and the Stage II is green, unless someone messed with them.
