Just curious: Say I have two speakers, one 30 watt, the other a 60 watt. If I'm putting them into a 2x12 mono, what is the actual wattage? 90W/45W? I thought someone threw the calc at me some time back. I was thinking of putting a v30 and a G12H30 in my 2x12. Would the 30W G12H30 get shredded in my 100W Deuce?

Assuming they are both the same impedance, yes. You'd split the 100 watts equally across both speakers, toasting the G12H

Take your lowest wattage speaker (30 watts) and multiply it times the number of speakers in your cabinet (in your case=2) and you will arrive at 60 watts max input power (assuming all speakers are the same impedance). :D

Yes, same impedence. I'd be using 2 - 16ohm speakers wired for 8ohms. So I'm probably better off using a G12T-75 with a V30? Also, let me throw this out there to screw things up. If I'm running 2 - 8ohm cabs, they would each go into the 4ohm speaker outputs for a safe mismatch? I plan on using a EV12L (200W@8ohms) in a 1x12 Thiele cabinet. Talk about a screwy speaker mix, eh?
