So I noticed after playing my Stiletto for a couple of months now that one of my rectifier tubes appeared to be no good. Been playing the amp on 100W and tube rectifier on the clean channel. Could running the amp like this cause any trouble? Mesa just sent me a new tube, but I figured I'd just throw this out there.
 
Channel One, 100w with tube rectifiers should not hurt a thing.
That's how I've been running mine for the past few years.
No problems.
Maybe you just had one with a short lifespan.
