I played guitar for about an hour and set the guitar down on the stand, put the amp in Standby and must've gotten distracted. 6 hours later I went to play guitar and see I left it powered on

Considering it was in Standby this isn’t really that bad for it right? I don’t know the answer so I just powered off the amp and decided I’ll let it cool down before I use it again I’d say the longest I’ve ever had it on while playing was at gigs that would run from 10pm to 2am and only ever once did my amp cut out at the end of the night at a private party where we were really cranked up.

Just figured I’d bring this up and get some feedback from fellow Boogie enthusiasts.

No problem. I've accidentally left an amp on standby for days. Others have done it as well.

You can leave it on running for months and it won't hurt it.

My rt bro! I almost replied yesterday to say EVH would leave a 5150 prototype on with a guitar feeding back for a month during testing.
