channel volume and loop active master for 2 channel rectos

Post by 2CDR » Tue Jan 29, 2019 1:21 am

2 channel guys,i have a revG with modded series loop that i use all the time, i run my channel vol low (9 o'clock) and use the loop active master as overall volume.. or is it channel vol up high around the 10.30 11 o'clock area ? im sure i read a lower channel vol was better, just want to get a general consensus.i should add i have the send level at noon, sometimes a bit higher but i find it starts to clip the clean channel and not sound as good. Tc electronic dreamscape and flash back is what i use in the loop. thanks for any advice help suggestions tips.

All three of these pots effect the tone. I adjust them to get the tone I want as much as the volume. Really depends on all the other gear being used to get the best results. Just experiment and see what works best with your system.
The fact that Stephen appears from nowhere, is sentenced to death in an emotional public trial without anyone interfering at all and is then altogether forgotten as if nothing happened, is already suspicious.
