Grid Slammer is great out front. I do not like the eq on the front end, but sounds great in the loop. Each to their own though. Try it in front or after of the GS, and then through the loop.

The Grid Slammer is great Mid range bump is not as harsh as TS-9 5 band in the loop still playing with the settings to get it just right but so far working good. The classic Mesa V Curve sound awful though.

The Grid Slammer is my preferred OD for a clean boost. Just the right amount of EQ in it to give your sound a nice growl with a rectifier. The recto heads do not need an EQ in the loop. The amp sounds amazing with just an overdrive and a gate.

The Mini rec however and rectoverb 25 however are whole different animals because of the EL84 power tubes and lower headroom. Those work great with an EQ similar to the classic Mark 5 band V, but with the bass end down at unity gain (middle of the slider).
