Hi all!

I have a Dual Rectifier 3-channel (non-multiwatt) amp and was wondering if I could use an 8-pin din cable instead of the 7-pin that the Mesa site recommends I use?

I just want to make sure that I don't fry my amp or something if I use the 8-pin cable, so I figured I'd come here and ask.

Thanks in advance!

Does the amp and footswitch have 8-pin jacks?

If yes, I would think you would be fine.

For anyone wondering in the future, the answer is yes. I purchased an 8-pin din cable on ebay and it works wonderfully with my amp and pedal!
