Mini rectifier volume output problem.

Hi all. I'm obviously new here and I am having an issue with my new mini rectifier. It seems that all of a sudden it has no guts. Two days ago it would melt your face. Now it plays but the volume output is minimal even with the volume knob up around 12 o'clock and it has a slight hissing sound. It's under warranty but I'm just curious as to what kind of repair is going to be needed. The local shop has a Mesa repair tech so hopefully I don't have to send it in.

Most problems with tube amps are tube related. Mesa tests their tubes before shipping... but they're fragile glass bottles and **** happens. It's why Mesa's tubes have a 6 month warranty.

I'd contact Mesa via phone in the morning. They'll probably tell you to bring it to the retailer to get the faulty tube swapped, but if they're involved it should reduce the likelihood of the retailer trying to give you the run-around.
