Using Tremoverb as a power amp

Ok, so this is probably an idiotic question, and I suspect it will sound like complete crap, but here goes! I have a Fishman Loudbox Artist (120w solid state acoustic combo amp with a guitar and mic input, single 8" driver). Would it be possible to run the DI out of this combo amp (or effects send) into the effects return of my Tremoverb combo amp to basically use the power amp section for increased volume without causing damage to the Tremoverb? Do you suspect it would sound like garbage?

You can use the tremoverb as the power amp.

From the manual
Make sure the mix level is at 100
The loop is active
Use the orange channel and make sure channel cloning is off

Whether it sounds good or not you'll find out.
