Hey all,

Clearly there's a wattage difference, and a size / weight difference, but I'd like to know more about the tone & feel of playing these two amps. Looking to get one as a compliment to my Marks.

Only recto I've owned was a single recto series 2, and it was too bright and raspy for my taste so I sold it.

Go!

Have not played a TVerb, but my understanding is that it is a smoother version of a Dual rec, with big bottom and some bite, but not so much gravel.

I have a MR and had a RV25, both are the same amp. They are very close to a Single Rec, but voiced a tad less bright IMO. They are good rock and metal amps with great bite, very crisp. But not much bottom. I used them in clubs and loved them, but eventually moved to 6L6 amps for a fuller tone.
