Mk V Head with a Boss GT 10

Hi all,
Ive recently got a Mk V Head and cab and a G lab midi amp controller, ive set it up so it changes the channels via midi, but cant seem to make it turn the solo boost on/off.
I have got it to work via the amp control on the gt 10 but was wondering if it is possible via the midi amp controller if you get what i mean, im not great at understanding midi.
Just wondering if any of you guys use this or a similar set up, and could offer any advice.
Getting some fantastic clean sounds with it.

You may get better response in the Mark V forums. However I found this in the manual:

3.The SOLO feature can only be activated by the SOLO button on the FOOTSWITCH or the Rear Panel EXTERNAL SWITCHING jack. It is not active without the Footswitch connected as it is a live performance feature. Remember that the EFFECTS LOOP must be active to use the SOLO feature.
