what revision are these? or are there multiple ones? how are they? I might be picking one up very soon.

Ask Fluff, he loves them.

Mine is a Rev F and it is so balanced sounding. I hear the Rev Gs are almost identical, but a bit looser and 'bigger' sounding. If you want a creamier and more musical / full sounding gain tone, you'll love it. The Orange Channel is the best kept 'secret' on the amp. The voicing is slightly different than the Red channel so when the Orange Channel is set to 'vintage high gain' you get a great elastically lead tone and when you swap it to modern, it is somehow warmer sounding. The amp was really designed as a high gain head, with the Orange channel being for lead and the Red channel being for rhythm. Guys run into problems when they try to use the 'clean' channel for a clean tone and then get the Red channel to do both lead and crunch.

If I ever gig with the Dual Rectifier, I will definitely run my Electra Dyne for cleans. 'Nuff said!

I'm stoked on it, and surprised. The dude wants my nomad for it. I'm like, sure! haha It'll be a nice addition to my oranges

well, I have the nomad 100 head on craigslist and he emailed me last night. he just wants something different. so i'm going to jump on it asap. just wanted to ask a few questions first. but ya, it's a great trade for me especially.

sweet, I just made the trade a few hours ago and got home and played it for a while. This thing sounds incredible! I can't wait to really crank it up tomorrow. Here's a quick photo I took.

just found a triple rec that looks like a 2 channel but dude is saying its a 3 channel. it has the same amount of knobs as the dual I just got. serial no 15135. are these very good? do they have revisions like the duals?

Can anyone give me a Rev on R-006692? Mesa says it's a 1995.

Most likely Rev G. As far as I recall from the Early Dual FAQ, the Rev Fs go until about the mid 3500s?? Mine is 26XX and a Rev F. The Rev F is quite similar to a Rev G but it is tighter and darker, as I understand it.

My Recto is SN 5012 or something and is Rev. G.

Yes, they have revisions like the duals but only starting at Rev F through Rev G. These heads are killer as I have purchased a 2 ch Triple a few months back (and sold off my 3 ch Dual) This particular Triple would be a Rev G (around late 1999 to early 2000) I'd give it a playthrough and see if you might like it.

Cool, thanks! I think maybe I'll hold out for an F. I prefer tighter and darker tones. I had a G (blackface, chrome chasis) and foolishly sold it.
