mxr 10 band vs dbx 15/31 band

I know a lot of people SWEAR by the mxr 10 band eq. I was wondering if anyone had tried that pedal vs a rackmount eq. I'd like to keep all my effects and such in the rack I have and was just curious if the mxr had some mystical tone harnessing capabilities.

My opinion, in a word, no.
I think your rack mount EQ will be able to do the same tone mojo that the MXR pedal does.
For what it's worth, I have my MXR EQ in my rack.

yeah i was looking at a 2 channel eq so i'd have options with different guitars
