Hi there, I'm looking at getting my tripple rec's transformer changed to accept Australian voltage. I spoke to a mesa distro guy in Canberra and he said that mesa advise against using a step down transformer. Is this true or is he trying to scare me into getting it done by him? I have heard that they are ok to use??? Also so you have to get a mesa transformer or can any brand be used?
