I'm running my DR with a pair of 6V6 tubes and the bias switch at El34 now i can crank my amp at about 2 o'clock and have the natural sound of the pushed output tube and i'm still able to hear the drummer. To my ears the clean is softer than 6l6 ans el34. If anyone have experienced this too feel free to give your opinon.
