can anyone point me to a good review of this amp on the net (other than harmony central)

also, can the vintage/raw/modern mode on the 2nd channel be modded so it can be footswitched ?

It can't be done without completely redesigning the amp. Shared tone and master controls between the modes would sound terrible anyway (never mind the HUUUUGE volume leap going from vintage to modern !!). Buy a 3 channel Dual or Roadster if you need more flexibility. :D
 
Like animated suspension said the mod would be pretty drastic. The old two channels had the Channel Clone feature. In this you sacrifice the clean channel. A new 3 channel or a roadster could be the solition for you if you need a clean channel.
