I did try this but really I'm looking for a volume boost for an already overdriven sound.
I only got more gain when I put the boost in front of the amp due to the limited headroom, and it didn't really work in the parallel fx loop (too much noise).
well the solo boost on my Nomad is just a pot wired as a variable resistor under the main MV pot. So yes it would be very easy to put in. Finding a way to trigger that relay would be the most difficult part.
