Custom cab with 2 Fillmore 75s

Post by Kidadfive » Sat Sep 07, 2019 10:27 am

I’m building a custom cab to use with the Recto-Verb 25. Will it power 2 of the fm-75s ?

Absolutely. Are you using 16 ohm speakers in parallel? That will give you an 8 ohm cabinet.

The speakers are 8 ohms, so I’m looking at 4 ohms in parallel. The Fillmore 75 is the speaker used in the recto-verb combo amp, which is why I want to use it in the 2X12 cab I’m building.

Should work no problem, let us know how it sounds.

I do like the Fillmore 75 a lot, it blooms and opens up nicely at stage volume. Goes to 11 in other words, smiles all around, I've this often, "new amp?"
