Hi All,

I'm looking to do a cover recording of "Nutshell" by Alice in Chains and I'm having a difficult time finding a website that has professional sounding backing tracks. I really only need the drum track (I'm terrible at programming them myself).

Does anyone know of a great resource for this?

Also, anyone get any kind of Jerry Cantrell from a Mark V? I know he uses Bogner & marsha heads...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The best way I've found to get drum tracks if you have no one to play them is through Ultimate Guitar tabs. I have Guitar Pro 5, so I save the Guitar Pro file from UGT to my Guitar Pro 5 program and then from there I export it as a MIDI file to my computer. Then I drag and drop it onto Pro Tools and turn the drums into an instrument file, using Xpand2 as the "plugin" then I "bus" it into an audio file where I record it off as an audio file.

Using Xpand2 you can set your kicks, snares, high hat, toms and cymbals all separately.
